FTPD Citizen Police Academy- Meet & Greet with Bulleit

The Fort Thomas Police Department has announced that they going to try to offer a Quarterly Seminar (roughly every 3-4 months) during the off season for past graduates, prospective students, and anyone who may just have an interest in the topic at hand for the Citizen Police Academy.

They will be kicking off with their first seminar this February with a “meet and greet” with their new K9 Bulleit! Officer TJ French will give a presentation on what it took to get the K9 program up and running, and all the training that he and Bulleit have already been through together. Then, the pair will give a search demonstration similar to the one the fall 2023 cohort saw in the Academy. There will also be time for individuals all to interact with Bulleit (he’s a very friendly boy, and very much still a puppy) and ask any questions.

FTPD will offer two dates and attendees will only be expected to attend one of those dates. The dates/times are as follows; Thursday, February 15th, 2024 (6pm-8pm) or Saturday, February 17th, 2025 (9am-11am)

The Quarterly Seminar will take place in the Council Chambers at the Fort Thomas City building and will have some drinks and snacks.
