The recent appointment of Andy Ellison as Mayor of Fort Thomas has created a vacancy on the Fort Thomas City Council. The City Council is seeking applications from interested Fort Thomas residents to fill the remainder of this council term, which runs through December 31, 2026.
Residents wishing to be considered should submit a letter or email addressed to the Fort Thomas City Council expressing their interest in the position. Applicants are encouraged to include a resume, if available.
Applications may be submitted by email to City Administrator Matthew Kremer at mkremer@ftthomas.org or delivered in person to the City Building. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
The City Council anticipates selecting a candidate at its regular meeting on December 15 at 7:00 p.m.
