Thanks to a partnership with Kentucky Office Of Highway Safety, the Fort Thomas Police Department was recently given 5 new PBTs (Preliminary Breath Test) as well as two new in-car stalker radars.
The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety distributes federal grant funding to law enforcement and other highway safety-related agencies. This partnership with FTPD and the KY Office of Highway Safety has continued to help keep our officers current with updated equipment through their effective and collaborative partnership. Officers will start using this new equipment this week while patrolling the city.
