Summer has arrived in the Fort along with everything that comes from the summertime temperatures.
It is that time of the year when the parks are packed with kids on the playgrounds, groups using the sports facilities, and folks walking up and down the avenue with friends and family.
I would like to take this time to thank the General Services Department, the Garden Club, and CORA (Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance) for their hard work in getting our parks and planters in tip-top shape. If you see them out and about, please let them know how nice it looks!
With the warm temperatures come community events, recreational activities, and city meetings. If you rely on the calendar on your phone as much as I do, you might want to download the Events Calendar from our website.
Go to https://fortthomasky.org and click on the Calendar on the top right of the home page, then scroll down past the Monthly Calendar and you will see Calendar Feeds. You can get all the Events and Meetings or just opt for downloading the Events Calendar.
I look forward to seeing everyone out around town!
